Custom-fit waterproof, insulated dog coat to keep your dachshund dry & cosy. Super lightweight, washable, & fast-drying, so your dog can wear it three seasons out of four. The silicone-coated technical fabric wrapped around a wool padding core (made from traceable European wool with maize) keeps out cold, wind, & rain. Hand-made & individually hand-quilted in our studio, this dog coat is designed with the dachshund shape in mind, & made to fit your dog’s unique measurements. MEASURING YOUR DACHSHUND Please provide 5 measurements for your dachshund, taken with a soft tape measure. Don’t measure too tightly or too loosely. You should be able to run a finger between the measuring tape & your dog’s body. We’ll add some ease to the sizing during the pattern drafting process. Measure your dog when she or he is standing up. Please see the diagram in each listing for further guidance. We can’t make changes or refund once a coat is made to the measurements you send. A – Neck circumference Measure the total distance around your dog’s neck at the collar point, where the collar naturally sits on her body when she is standing up. This is not necessarily the narrowest point of the neck, which will be a bit further up towards the head. B – Chest circumference This is measured just behind the front legs. in dachshunds this is the widest part of their chest. C – Waist circumference Measure around your dog’s chest measured right in the centre of his or her back. D – Hip circumference The distance around your dog’s back, measured just in front of the back legs. E – Back length Please measure this from the neck of your dog at her collar point to the start of her tail. Please measure this twice so that you are 100% certain!
