These hooks are hand made in my shop out of mild steel. They are drilled to fit any standard screw, & I can include black screws with your order if you would like. The end of the hook is rounded to provide a soft edge to prevent damage to clothing or fabric. After I hammer these out & hot twist them I coat them with a beeswax which I get directly from a local beekeeper. Product uses – Hanging Coats, Jackets, Hats, or even a dog leash. -Hanging towels. -Hanging extension cords or rope. -Hanging Flower pots on your porch -Hanging pots & pans in the kitchen (Cast Iron looks great on these!) -Adding a traditional & historical touch to any room. All my ironwork is forged using very traditional techniques that date back thousands of years. I learned this trade in a 18th century style shop, & even though some of my projects use modern tools I make them the same way people did hundreds if not thousands of years ago. I hope you not only find the utility in the beauty of my work, but also in the heritage that is behind it. Approximate Measurements Length – 5 1/2in Height – 1 1/2 in Width – 1/4in Product Care – Most of my ironwork is coated in a beeswax I get directly from local beekeepers. This will protect them from rust for a very long time, if the product is being used inside it should last a lifetime.
